AI crawler tracking

Beta

See which AI crawlers visit your site, which pages they read, and whether your robots.txt lets them in.

Every paid plan.

Why it matters

An assistant can only recommend a page it has read. If AI crawlers are blocked, or never reach your key pages, no content change will show up in the answers.

Most analytics tools miss these visits because AI crawlers do not run the JavaScript those tools depend on.

How it works

  1. 1

Turn it on with one connection

The same server-side install that verifies your site starts recording AI crawler visits. No browser script is involved.

  2. 2

    See who is reading

Visits are grouped by the AI behind them (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google and others) and by page.

  3. 3

    Check access

NextEO reads your robots.txt and shows which AI crawlers are allowed or blocked. A blocked search crawler (the one that lets an assistant cite you) is flagged; a blocked training crawler is shown as an opt-out, which does not hide you from AI answers.

What you get

  • AI crawler visits by bot and by page, charted over time
  • robots.txt access for each AI crawler
  • AI-referred visits and revenue from Google Analytics 4 (Pro)

Questions

Why not just use Google Analytics?
Google Analytics runs in the browser, and AI crawlers do not run JavaScript, so their visits never reach it. NextEO records them on the server.
Does it slow my site down?
No. The install records a visit and passes the request through; it adds no script to your pages.
